Never Allow Third Party Ads On Your Site

The problem with third party ads

There is a reason that I do not like using third party advertiser on my web site other than just clutter.  I made a screen shot of a blog that I stumbled upon and posted it here.  As you can see on the right there is an ad that I find offensive blaspheming my Lord and savior Jesus.  This shows up on a Google Ad on the page.  I purposely blurred the URL on the bottom because I do not want to advertise such an offensive advertisement.  As most of you know, I am not a Google user anyway from my previous posts but this could have just as easily been another company. The problem with adding this ad based code to your site is that it opens the door for advertisements from people that you may completely disagree with.

For those of you that like to call yourselves journalists and think that blocking views that oppose your own is censorship, then you will see why I am not a journalist.  As a private blog, the content should be based on the beliefs of the owner.  I have found that journalists usually do take sides on an issue though they will never admit it.  In most cases, they are completely opposite my views so having a blog allows you to tell your own views without having to be politically correct.  As someone that feels Jesus is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings, you may see why I would find the above advertisement offensive and would not want it on my site.
