My Doctor Visit
For those of you that were wondering what went on at today’s doctor visit today it went as expected. You may remember I posted earlier this week about going to the emergency room for chest pains when I was at work. I left the doctor’s office this morning with three more appointments for other tests. I arrived at 9:10 for my 9:30 appointment. Unfortunately I was not called back until 10:50 and then had to wait on the doctor until 11:20. Yikes! Thankfully I had my cell phone and was able to play with Twitter to keep me occupied. My doctor suspects that I may have GERD and or an ulcer. He did give me some Prevacid to help on my ongoing heartburn that I have been having. I am hoping this is not that bad. I have been having some very bad heartburn every morning when I go to work for several weeks. I just assumed this was due to all the stress related to work, school, family. Anyway, I will have faith that it is not that bad and hopefully heals quickly. I really hate to have to keep taking off work for these appointments. I better bring this to a close so I can go over to my dad’s house to visit this evening.
