Update for 11/25/2007
This weekend started off pretty bad for me in that I was in a very grouchy mood. After Thanksgiving, I came home to do some school work and was just overwhelmed. I was so stressed out Friday morning about finances, school work, things breaking, that I posted a very negative post on my blog but I later removed it. I ended it with a statement that I give up and will just turn it over to God. I told God that if He could perform some of the miracles, then I would post about them and tell everyone.
Well Friday the car started dying on us for no apparent reason. My wife was out driving around and she stopped at Hudiburg Chevrolet to get it check out. They did a test and found that it had been recalled for some switch coil that had gone out. This failure made the catalytic converter go out as well as something else. They fixed it before telling her the price so they agreed not to charge her at all. That was a miracle for sure because we were really financially struggling lately.
Then I started doing one of my school lessons and was so overwhelmed that I just quit. Yesterday I started back on my work thinking it would be a miracle if I ever caught up. I worked until 9:00 pm last night and completed my 21 page annotated bibliography. Wheeewwww! Today I finished up two more assignments and actually caught up.
I left work on Wednesday in a very bad mood and upset with a supervisor. I was so discouraged about escaping that shop that I considered quitting. Now that God has given me peace, I feel much better and I know my opportunity to get a better job will come soon. I just felt like I needed to tell about some good things this weekend. I received word from my relative that it was okay that I post the pictures on the Internet so I unlocked the Thanksgiving photos where everyone can see them. I hope everyone else had a fine weekend and an opportunity to be thankful for all that you have.
