Oh wow! I often get irritated at listening to Thomas Hawk rail against Yahoo for censoring on Flickr when he goes in there and starts a fight. Youtube is the child of the beloved Google. Youtube being part of Saint Google must be above censoring those that oppose their views. But wait… What happened to the video that I posted on my blog labeled “Scary Stuff”? That video was of a school teaching the kids to praise Barack Obama. Once this story become wide spread and people started looking for it, Youtube takes it off citing “Terms of Use Violations”. The reason they took it down is because the only thing worse in their eyes than ‘dissing’ Google is to ‘diss’ Obama. This is so funny because I have listened to those on the left praise Google for being above the fray. They have cried about Yahoo for censoring certain information because the Chinese government told them too. I heard people praising Google for not doing such a thing. Just as Flickr is Yahoo, Youtube is Google. If we are going to cry wolf at Yahoo’s actions whether warranted or not, then in fairness we must do the same with Google. This has made my day because for years we have listened to the praises of the almighty Google as being as clean as the wind driven snow. The truth is that Google and Yahoo come from the most liberal place on earth, the San Francisco Bay. Liberals are famous for trying to quiet their enemies with laws restricting rights. Remember the cries for the fairness doctrine? They want to make it where stations are at risk of being sued if they do not give time to the other side of a controversial subject. The end result is that it ends up being a station that does not even talk about controversial topics. This gives the left wing media a monopoly on information where no one can contradict their information. They also always advocate the fraud that is campaign finance reform. This makes it where opponents cannot speak via paid advertisements against the lies of the media within so many days before an election. Again, the left wing media has free reign and no one can counter their claims. This removing of the video does not surprise me at all.
