What an exciting time for those of us that are fed up with politicians that are in leadership in city, state, and federal positions.  This is a “throw the bums out” year where the Tea Party groups have ignited conservatives.  They have become tired of both political parties betraying them.  One party admittedly has an agenda to remove any evidence of the America that we all grew up knowing and loving.  The other party says they agree with us and then when they get into office, they forget who put them there.  This is a year where people can throw the parties to the wolves and get rid of the person that is in there if they do not stand for their constituents.  Too long both parties have enjoyed the loyalty of their constituents simply on the basis that they were not a member of the opposite party.  They could commit all sorts of crimes, dishonesty, all sorts of deception, and a lack of loyalty to those that put them there.

If we can thank the Tea Party movement for anything, it is awakening conservatives that we do not have to vote for the established person in our respective party.  They have been able to topple long standing incumbents during the primary elections.  The media is so predictable as they always are. They use a tactic that usually works but is not going to work this time.  They report unsubstantiated claims by unknown sources, about racist activities in the Tea Party groups. No evidence is EVER found.  You know that when the media brings out the “RACISM” card, they are desperate.  Unfortunately for them, this year, the ones that are fired up are the conservatives.  The more the media belittles them, the more fired up they get.  You would think they would remember 1996 when the Republicans went after their precious Bill Clinton for lying under oath.  The Republicans did have a case and did have the evidence and in fact Bill Clinton eventually admitted it.  Nevertheless the people saw Bill Clinton as being bullied and and felt sorry for him.  He was re-elected in 1996 after clearly breaking the law.  The same thing can happen here.

The very people that are fed up with being lied to and misrepresented are being portrayed by the media as kooks and fringed crazy people.  I cannot think of a single instance in my life time where this has worked.  Not only does it keep them fired up more than ever, it makes them look like they are being bullied and those that are neutral will sympathize with them.  People remember the greatest free campaign in world history in 2008.  I say free because the media’s love for Barack Obama resulted in more positive coverage than any campaign could buy.  This was the campaign where the media built up Barack Obama as though he was the second coming of Christ.  You could hear the angels singing as he was announced.  The media treated him like a king and never question his credentials. They never questioned his agenda. They never even asked him what he stood for.  The one thing that no one wants to admit is that he was elected for one reason.  That reason is the color of his skin.  His skills, knowledge, abilities were not even a factor.  His resume could have been completely blank and people would have voted for him.  The truth that no one wants to admit is that most people in the United States are not racist and in fact WANT blacks to succeed.  The presidential election of 2008 was just that.  It was the white people standing up with blacks, and other people of color saying we want you to succeed. Here is your chance…coupled with having no one worthy to vote for on the other side.  People ignored the fact that he was an extreme leftist liberal, and socialist.  People ignored that he was an Islamist advocate lying to say he was Christian to get elected.  People ignored his Pastor’s words in the video below where his says God D_ _ _ _ America.

People ignored that Barack Obama said that he went to this guy’s church for 20 years and then after this video came out, he conveniently said that he disagreed with him.  People wanted a black man to succeed so bad that they willingly ignored all of this evidence.  Heck, even I found myself after the election feeling a little good that a black man had won the presidency.  I was more than happy to give him the benefit of the doubt despite my misgivings.

During 2008 we listened to the media pine over him and speak of HOPE and CHANGE over and over and over again.  We on the conservative side had no one to vote for because John McCain was the only other option.  He has thrown our side under the bus so many times that he cannot be trusted.  I would not have been happy with John McCain either.  It was John McCain winning the Republican nomination that ignited the Tea Parties.  If he being a liberal was the best we could get on the Republican side then we need to throw them all out.  It was time to take a stand and get rid of the liberal Republicans during the primary elections.  Supporting the true conservative over the established one.  I have felt this way before the Tea Party movement reared its head.  You may remember one of my posts back in November 5, 2008, immediately after the election.  Barack Obama had just won the election and I felt pretty good.  I thought it was the perfect opportunity to let the liberal Republicans know that if they do not support us, then they must go.

After the Tea Party movement began, I felt vindicated because many people had told me that I was crazy not to support the Republicans because by doing so, I would be letting the other side win.  You know… I use to think that way myself until I stopped and started paying attention.  It seems like voting for one candidate just because they are not a member of the other party has resulted in our candidates becoming more and more like the other side.  Our candidates have become more liberal over time because they know they can depend on our vote simply by not being Democrat.  Sometimes we have to make some tough choices and do some unpleasant things to get things fixed.  Sometimes we have to allow someone like Barack Obama to win soundly to wake our side up.  We need to stop voting for liberal Republicans because they are destroying the country just as bad as the Democrats.  After Ronald Reagan we got George H.W. Bush, slightly more liberal than Reagan.  After him we had George W. Bush, even further to the left than his dad.  George W. Bush was a disappointment because he spent the people’s money like there was no tomorrow.   After that, our side voted for John McCain!  This is the same guy that votes with the Democrats on almost every issue that is important to us unless it is an election year.  With each successive election we have received a Republican that was more liberal than the last.  They cannot be trusted and must go.  Losing the election in 2008 was a small price to pay to wake our side up.

Let’s hope the Tea Party movement continues through 2012.  We must get these liberals out of Washington D.C.  They are ruining our country by spending more than we make.  I do not care if they are Democrat or Republican, if they are liberal they must go.  The real HOPE and CHANGE is taking our country back from these dope heads of the 1960’s.  These good time rock
and roller, free love  people need to go back to Woodstock where they came from.  We do not need anymore of this craziness.  Tomorrow is step one toward throwing the bums out.  Let’s have a huge turn out and get these guy’s attention.
