I was waiting in a long line of cars and I looked up and noticed the car in front of me had gone so I took off real fast and just as I hit about 4000 RPM’s the light turned red.  Well needless to say there was a police car right behind me and I got a ticket.  I was not trying to run the red light as most of you know the bricktown lights are very short.  Oh well, I have no excuse so I will just pay it. The ticket does not have a price on it but gives a web site where I can pay it.  It does state on there… “Disregarded Traffic Light”.  I guess this makes me a felon and I need to move because I live less than 200 feet from an elementary school

On a brighter note, I bought a new TomTom One XL-S yesterday and I love it.

This thing is amazing how it is exact on the locations and even shows the railroad tracks as I approach them.  Next year Sunday and I are going to go on a trip for our twentieth anniversary so this will come in handy for that as well.  This thing actually speaks to you and tells you 200 feet, turn right on Sunnylane.  It is pretty nice and I think it was money well spent.

I start my new job next week so I am excited/anxious about that.  This will be a completely different environment from where I worked before so it will take some adjusting.  I want to be successful and do a good job so I want to learn all I can.  My current boss has not spoken to me in over a week since I found out about getting this new job.  Speaking of learning.  I had one paper to write this whole weekend and I have been having a hard time getting motivated.  It is hard to get my mind into it this weekend.  I think it is because of the big news about the job so my mind is preoccupied.   We had a little rain yesterday but it cleared off later in the day.

My neighbor across the street is really getting on my nerves.  His only means of transportation is a huge Ryder truck with the Ryder painted over.  He has some problems with it so he has been working on it and draining the oil right into the driveway and then uses a water hose to spray it out into the street and it settles right in front of my driveway.  He has done this twice in the last two weeks.  Did I mention that it is a Ryder truck with gallons of oil?  What happened to getting an oil pan to capture the oil and disposing of it properly?  If that is not bad enough, he plays the stereo in his house late at night loud enough for me to hear it in the back of my house.  I do not like to get into other people’s business but this guy has no regard for the neighborhood.  I looked up the house on the Oklahoma County web site and found that it is a rent house and the owner lives a couple miles south of here.

Have any of you tried the Hotmail (Windows Live) Calendar lately?  Yesterday I was browsing through and it is improved so much.  It looks just like you are using Microsoft Outlook.  It has the ability to share folders on the left just like Outlook.  It has the same look as outlook when you put appointments on there.  Too bad that I work on a military base where it is blocked.  My employer blocks all webmails and social networks.  I have to update my Twitter using my cell phone.  I cannot even go to the site from their computers.  I guess I understand their concerns.  Anyway…  The Windows Live Calendar is very nice and worth a second look if you have not looked at it lately.  I better get this sent so I can finish my paper.

After this national embarrassment, a local car dealership called Fowler Toyota started running commercials making fun of this.  You should watch this video because it is pretty funny.  You have to watch the first video before the second one or it will not make any sense.

No one will admit it but I am sure that Mike Gundy’s days at OSU are numbered.  If he had an impressive winning record, I think this would not matter like Bobby Knight.  I may be wrong but most companies will not put up with public outbursts like this while wearing their company logo.
