That is an awesome memorial to your mom. I miss and love her so much. She was/is my other mother. She and mama are up there with Grandma and Grandpa Taylor and is happy and healthy, watching over us all. One day we will be with them again. I look forward to that. I use Dreamhost and get my domains for $10/yr. I use Squarespace for my blog and host my other sites on Dreamhost. I’ve been very pleased with them both in service and price. if you ever decide to switch, let me know. I have a code on my site that’ll get you $50 off for he frst year of hosting.

Thanks. I will have to look into that. I agree that it is very frustrating. I pay a fortune to Godaddy.com for my domain and hosting. Then my self hosted WordPress blog seems to go through these periods from time to time.

Looks like it may be time to move the blog to Squarespace. I moved mine there, from WordPress, a while back. I was sick of constantly installing updates to WordPress and all the plugins.

FWIW, I read your blog through the RSS feed, so I don’t notice any issues. When I loaded up this post, it loaded just fine from my iPad.

You must have misunderstood my point. I completely agree with you. It is irritating and puts me off as well. For one thing I think McArthey was right then and he still is. My point in this post was that those that use ridicule to stop people from pointing it out do think it will work and probably does on some. It will not work with me. The reason it is my goal to be retweeted is just to send a message that it will not work.

Every time @RedScarBot retweets me, I make a point to address him directly so that he knows that it did not work. I make a point to use some variant of Communism on Twitter for the sole purpose to wake old @RedScareBot up.

I believe we need to stop cowering to these Communists and point them out.

As someone who uses the twitter handle Dot_Communism I think I have probably got 100 red scare bot re-tweets and it is one of the most irritating things in the world. I find it interesting that you use it as an example of something that might shut down McCarthyist silencing and so forth because I know for a fact that it puts people off sending messages to me lest they get spammed!

I was a bit surprised when I visited http://skype.com recently… somehow I ignored (or blocked from my consciousness) who actually owned them now. Looks like Microsoft purchased them in 2011 for $8.5 billion. Skype has had a horrible user interface forever, but especially the past couple of years… now my hopes for it improving are diminishing faster and faster.

I have almost no other comments on Windows 8… I touched it for a few moments in a Staples once and was utterly unimpressed. I’ll confess I clicked on one of the camera apps, quickly took a picture of myself, and then had to stick around for a bit to find a method of deleting the picture I had taken… didn’t feel intuitive to me.
