The last ten years or so we have been listening to everyone in the media telling us about the impending doom of global warming. Around 1999 the temperatures started dropping and they were left with nothing to stand on. As time has passed these people have slowly begun to use the word climate change since there is zero proof that the earth is warming any more than normal heating and cooling cycles. As is well known by those that are actually paying attention to the biggest scam the world has ever known the warmest year on record was 1998. This whole global warming scam is actually comprised of three groups of people. One group is those that worship the Earth. This group is the ones that worship the Earth as was forecasted by the Bible.

Romans 1:25…

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

These people see the Earth as a being that must be protected. This god’s power is only surpassed by the humans god. They worship this being as being the sole source of life with limited resources. They see humanity as destroying this being. They see the world as green and feel that we have a duty to worship and protect this Earth.

The second group of people are socialists that are vehemently opposed to socialism. These people see global warming/climate change as a tool that can be used to rid the world of capitalism by accusing the industrialized world of polluting the planet. If they can successfully convince the majority of people that private business is corrupt and greedy then maybe they can convince the public that the government needs to step in and regulate business to a point that government controls business. By definition, Socialism is where the government is in control of financial and natural resources. In this imagined utopia everyone is equal and the rich cannot take advantage of the poor. This philosophy is failed because it ignores the fact that it is not capitalism that is corrupt but humanity itself. The same humans that are involved in corporate scandals are involved in government scandal. The only difference is that government corruption has no recourse for the citizens of the country to counter it.

The third group of people are those that are ignorant and partisan. These people have been raised in areas where their family voted for a party so they are going to do it too. These people spend zero time questioning their leader’s motives. They watch the news and take it all in with ignorance as though everything they hear on television is fact. They are oblivious to the idea that there are people in the media and politics that have agendas that shape their policies. These people when asked what specific policy of their political leader they support the most cannot even name one. A large portion of Obama and Bush supporters fall into this category. Those on the liberal side follow ABC, NBC, CBS, AP, and CNN as gospel. In their eyes Foxnews and Rush Limbaugh are the most evil people around. They believe that government is best suited to run the social affairs of the country.

On the conservative side these people think that ABC, NBC, CBS, AP, and CNN are political tools of the liberal side. I happen to agree with them in this regard. They see Foxnews as the only media outlet that is balanced. They see Ronald Reagan as their political hero. I agree with them on this one as well with the exception of his arms trade mistake. The climate change movement is nothing new as there is evidence of their existence since the 1970’s with their global cooling scare tactics. Back then it was the same people claiming that humanity was destroying the environment that will inevitably result in a new ice age. I remember this indoctrination in elementary, middle school and high school. I thought it had gone a way until I started hearing about global warming in the 1990’s. If you think I am just making this up, do some homework and learn about these people.

There is a fourth group of people responsible for this and it is “The world owes me” group. These are the ones that are very similar to the union group in that they are lazy and feel that their hardships are someone else’s fault. They feel that they have been unjustly put upon and the American taxpayer owes them a free hand out. Many of the groups listed above fall into this category. The problem with these people is that they do not understand that the government has zero money. The government takes money from other people to support these people. Unfortunately this lifestyle eventually becomes so oppressive to the few workers that are left that there are not enough resources to support the ever growing lazy population.

You will find a clear link between those that are socialist in their beliefs and those that are claiming climate change. It is still not considered acceptable for people to admit they are socialist and in fact many of them do not even think they are. Their ideology is clear but they do not like to be called Socialists. I mean socialism as defined by Wordnet search meaning “a political theory advocating state ownership of industry” The Democrats have become a party of Socialism in this regard. They are comprised of many different disgruntled groups of people such as the labor unions (AFL-CIO), elderly (AARP), minority groups (NAACP), homosexual rights, the poor to name a few. These groups have one thing in common and that is “worry”. They are various groups that are worried that someone is trying to take something from them whether it be their rights, possessions. Their leaders have done a very good job in placing blame upon the Republican party. The Democrat leadership have portrayed themselves as the savior against this enemy. They galvanize these groups of people by portraying the Republican party as the sole source of their worries. This tactic has been so successful that even the Republicans have begun to do this.

The Republican party has given up on their ideology of conservatism because they have discovered how successful the Democrats have been. The Republican party has found refuge by many “other” disgruntled groups such as the gun rights, illegal immigration crowd, and Christians. The Republican party has a poor track record of effectively representing these groups the way they say. They use these groups to gain power just like the Democrats though they never follow through on these promises. They have shown themselves non trustworthy because they never do what they say. Since the main stream media are active participants in this Democrat versus Republican game, they will portray the Republicans as right wing extremists all the while the conservatives are scratching their heads trying to find out where these extremists are. For example the media portrayed George W. Bush as a right wing extremist while his constituency was being disappointed by his liberal spending. George W. Bush was anything but a right wing extremist.

The moral of the story on all this is that Democrats falsely claim climate change to advance their socialist agenda while the Republicans deceive their constituency to stay in power. For this reason, the conservatives stayed home in 2008 giving Barack Obama a commanding lead in the election. For this reason he feels emboldened to advance his socialist agenda while the conservatives are fed up with their lying leaders. The climate change is just one of many tools the Democrats/Socialists use to give the government more power over individual rights. Homeland security is just one of many tools the Republican leadership uses to do the same thing. The way I see it is that Democrats are just plain evil and Republicans are just plain useless.

So as we freeze to death on one of the coldest winters in decades you can blame it on global warming. That makes as much sense as putting some water on the stove to make ice cubes. You and I are being played by both parties. The Democrats are the ones feeding us this lie called global warming while the Republicans are too busy selling us out. The sad thing about all this is that the third group I mentioned above are becoming the minority. Those that will sit in their comfortable chairs and take the news reports as gospel without ever questioning their accuracy will continue to soak in the lies. The people need to wake up and realize that both parties are playing them. Neither party has the best interest of the people at heart.

I am sure that by now you have heard about the fraud that is global warming being exposed last week. Read the Rest...

I am sure that by now you have heard about the fraud that is global warming being exposed last week. Apparently someone has reportedly hacked into the Climate Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia in England. The CRU is the central focal point that is quoted from those advocating the theory of global warming. This alleged computer hack resulted in the release of thousands of private emails between scientists out to the public. Among these emails were the admission that the earth’s temperature is not climbing and “this is a travesty”. They also admit doing a trick to add the “actual” temperatures to show a rise in temperatures when there really is not. Also they discuss suppressing those scientists of opposing views from the peer review process. In other words, the so called “consensus” of global warming is not a consensus at all. The truth is that any scientist that disagrees with the global warming theory is not only ignored but denied publication in peer reviewed journals.

Of course the CRU is denying these reports though they admit the hacked emails are legitimate. They portray this whole thing as a misunderstanding and that the opposition is selectively posting emails out of context to deny global warming. They will not admit what others can see clearly and no one really expects them to because those with their eyes open know that global warming is really a political tool rather than actual science. It is easy to see a trend among those that preach the global warming scare and that is that most of them are anti-capitalism. The alternative to capitalism is socialism. Those that are advocates of the global warming theory are usually quick to point out that it is the industrialized nations, particularly the United States that are responsible for this fabricated crisis.

It is not very popular to claim socialism as a preferred political system in the open so they are using environmentalism to get the same results. If the Socialists cannot get people to simply turn over their rights, money and power over to the government, they will create a crisis to scare the public. This created crisis is “man-made global warming”. If they can get politicians to buy into this fraud then we will see more restrictive legislation coming from Washington all in the name of saving the environment. The context of this legislation taking your rights away will be to save you from yourself. This socialist way of doing things is very popular among the American Democrats in Washington. When I speak of socialism, I define it by meaning the government owns the money, infrastructure, and the financial systems rather than the private sector. The Democrats have invested a lot of energy painting the private sector as being greedy and unfair to the poor.

The Democrats have done a very good job of portraying private business owners as dishonest, cheating tax evaders. The agenda in all of this is to place themselves as saviors and come to the rescue of this perceived enemy called capitalism. Their solution to the problems is to take away the freedoms of the capitalists and turn it over to the government in an attempt to “over-see” in a regulatory way. They intend on making the government the steward over all of the financial and environmental resources. Unfortunately they forget that the same dishonesty that created problems in the private sector also occupy the halls in Washington. The only difference is that in the government there is no accountability.

I know what many are saying with this statement. Many are saying that our three branches of government are the best source of checks and balances available. That is not always the case anymore with the hostile political climate where the two parties are always at each other’s throats trying to bring the other side down. They appoint activist judges sympathetic to their points of view. The three branches of government often become accomplices of each other’s indiscretions. The problem with this is that once the government takes a freedom, it is lost forever. Once the government takes money, it is lost forever. For all the arguments that can be made against capitalism, there are no other examples of long term successes that any other type of government has had that have resulted in the overall affluence that capitalism has.

These people believe deep down that government has the responsibility to help the people despite the fact that the only way the government can help is to take away from someone else. They believe that government can and must be the steward of the resources in the country. By creating this theory of global warming they can scare enough people to buy into it and willingly give up freedoms all in the name of security. Unfortunately they do not see how human nature seeks power and greed and once given this power, they never give it back. There is no empire that has lasted forever and ours will not either. By strengthening the government and weakening its citizens, the country that we love so much is inevitable to fail. The one thing that has kept this nation strong is the freedoms and ability of its citizens to succeed on their own works. Once the government takes that away, there is no incentive for creativity.

Again, the purpose of the global warming scare is to convince more people and legislators to enact laws that will give the government more power and control in the name of environmentalism. It is a tool that is used to convert a capitalist nation into a socialist one. As you may remember, on October 12th, 2009 I posted a story about how in the 1970’s and 1980’s the same people were preaching about a coming ice age and how our very existence depended upon immediate action to turn around “man-made global cooling”.

With the release of this information from the CRU, you would think the media and the government would be all over this story to expose how the nations of the world have been victims of a hoax. This hoax has resulted in legislative decisions that have cost the world billions of dollars. They have been teaching our young children this lie for years. It is no surprise that our beloved media and government keeps their head in the sand and does their best to play it down. Those that have taken notice at all have taken the point of view that the hacker is the one that needs to be punished. There is still no public evidence that it was a hacker at all. For all we know, it was an insider that saw the fraud that was going on and publicized it as a “whistle blower”. For all we know, this inside job was falsely reported as a hacker because they did not want to lose their job as a whistle blower.

Usually the media promotes whistle blowers and advocates their protection to prevent corruption in companies. Unfortunately this time the media is advocating punishing the whistle blower and we are left to ask why. The only reasonable conclusion that I can come up with is that the media agrees with this fraud and wants to down play it. The American media has long been an advocate of socialism and the Democrats and this is no secret. If this fraudulent crisis had been an opposing view of their own, they would be demanding legal action and Congressional hearings. Instead we get a non questioned repeat of statements from the CRU and that this email scandal will not be a hindrance to global warming legislation. The blatant bias and cover up mentality of the American media is absolutely amazing. I have long known they have no integrity and expected this type of behavior. Now the media has become so biased that they do not even attempt a pretense of objectivity. Even I am amazed at how blatant they are.

Anyone that would even dare to speak a different perspective is denounced as a political tool of the Republican party. Never in my lifetime have I seen political leaders and major media outlets target another network for speaking opposing views like they have against Fox News. It is as though the political climate has become so hostile that we cannot even have a good natured debate on issues. This is why I think that both major political parties should be disbanded. The people of this nation have become so galvanized against the other side that neither can have an honest discussion. The Supreme Court, and the scientific community are no exceptions to this hostility.

Watch the news carefully and see how despite these corrupt scientist’s own words being released how they go into cover up mode. Watch how they ignore clear evidence because it is counter to their own agenda. They still sound the alarm of a non existent crisis despite clear evidence to the contrary. For the record, I have no opinion on this .

If you look through history you will see how in economics 101 it is common to lower taxes during a bad economy. The intent is to free up discretionary cash for individuals and businesses to spend that results in spurring the economy. Government’s have the power to help or hurt the economy. As our unemployment tops the 10% mark yesterday, we are being inundated by stories of how our President and Congress are trying to shove a health care program down our throats. This program is going to cost tax payers more money in the end to the tune of $1.2 Trillion. Over the last year and a half we have already had to endure $700 million dollar bailouts by President Bush and that was followed up by more than 1 $Trillion in bailouts and bogus stimulus packages by Obama.

All of this is added on top of the already astronomical national debt we already had. Our annual budget deficits are growing exponentially and what does our DEMOCRAT leaders want to do? They do not want to lower taxes to ease the burden on our economy. They do not want to help individuals get on their feet with tax relief. What they want to do is burden the tax payers with the most expensive social program this country has ever known right as we pass 10% unemployment. Our partisan leaders have the 60 votes in the Senate that makes their actions filibuster proof and they want to shove more debt upon us while we are already hurting. This from the party that sells itself as the party that wants to help the ‘little guy’? The party of ‘socking it to the rich guy’ wants to implement programs that not only will not help the economy but will make it worse. My pointing out lack of integrity of DEMOCRATS is not an endorsement of the REPUBLICAN party either. Our so called Republicans have been spending us out of control just as much as the Democrats.

We need to take our government back and throw them out of office. If you have a Congress person in your district that has voted yes on any of these bailouts, or stimulus programs, they must go no matter what their party affiliation is. Barack Obama and John McCain both are as liberal as they come and we had no one to vote for on this last election. Instead of voting for one party just to keep the other party out of office, why not change your strategy and throw these unfaithful politicians out of office. As soon as these guys come to the understanding that they will not get our votes simply for not being a member of the ‘other’ party, they may start to realize some accountability. I am not advocating the ‘throw the bums out’ mentality across the board but rather throw the ones out that are voting for all this government take over.

Americans, we have been faced by the greatest form of racism the world has ever known with the onset of the H1N1 virus. This virus was created by white males in their attempt to get the West Nile virus off the news. As most of you have probably noticed that six months ago the West Nile virus was the worst disease in history if you were to watch the news media. Now the West Nile has taken a back seat to the new swine flu, or H1N1. Experts are beginning to see a racial component to the proliferation of the swine flu. The swine flu is deliberately attacking blacks and Mexicans and must be stopped. Just read this story from the objective MSNBC. The fair and balanced reporting of the Los Angeles Times also echoes the horror imposed on our brothers and sisters of color. The Boston Globe is also among the many that are shining a light on this E-VIL virus attacking minorities. Just search the Internet for “Swine Flu and Minorities” and you will see that I am not making this up. I have even heard reports that a swine flu virus molecule was seen under a microscope wearing a white hood dancing around a camp fire.

The swine flu is single handedly responsible for the growth of right wing malitias around the United States. Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck are out trying to advocate the mass spreading of this racist disease. Talk radio is the avenue that has been used to spread this disease as scientists have discovered how flu molecules can attach themselves to radio signals infecting entire black families. If this swine flu is not stopped soon, the only people that will be left will be anglo-saxon males. The last statement was not a mistake as this virus also attacks women as well. The West Nile virus was a predominately white disease and for this reason, executives in smoke filled rooms have conspired to bury this story while engaging in the proliferation of the H1N1. As if this was not enough, it has recently been discovered that union workers are more than twice as likely to get the swine flu than non union workers.

Americans, I plead with you to write your Congress person to address this right wing disease aimed at hurting black union workers. The seriousness of this crisis cannot be overstated. African American children are being left orphaned and homeless as a result of this racist, and dare I say E-VIL disease. Do your part to stand up and take a stand to right this wrong. Your neighbor of color is depending on your action. If you have any compassion at all, you must take a stand and do your part to stamp out this racist that plagues this nation. The very lives and careers of your neighbors are at stake.

There is a many reasons that I do not like liberal politics. Of those reasons is one that really offends me and that is the act of buying votes. Politicians on the liberal end of the spectrum make a living off of people’s real and perceived hardships. These liberal politicians like to exploit those “alleged” hardships by campaigning to fix the woes of the world. Of course the only way in their mind that you can fix the woes of the world is to throw more money at the problem. These liberal politicians have no intention of actually fixing the problems but rather just want to use them to get elected. They do this by two different methods and those are actually putting money into something or proposing something that is so outrageous to the opposition that it never gets passed. Let me elaborate on these tactics.

In some cases these liberal politician will create programs like this “Cash for Clunkers” program and advertise the merits of cleaning up the environment and helping the economy. This program is just like many others that liberals propose in that it never actually fixes anything. It throws the public a bone of other people’s money so that ignorant Americans will vote for this politician. The end result is that the American people are being played to get this character elected using their own money. This game plays over and over again with liberal politicians. The actual result of these programs does nothing but cost the tax payers millions of dollars while putting the money into the dealership’s hands. Anyone knows that $4,500 dollars on the purchase of a new car does not even make a dent in the price of the car especially when the dealership just does what they always do and that is mark up the price of the car to offset the trade in. Anytime you trade in a car to a dealership you are just “GIVING” them your car. These dealerships make so much profit on these cars that your trade in is irrelevant in the big scheme of things.

The other method that liberals do that also always works is their policy of proposing new programs that will cost so much money that it will never get past. They know it will never get past when they propose it but the real purpose in proposing it is to blame the opposition for putting your grandmother out on the street. They want to blame the opposition for causing homelessness, racism, or any host of world problems. In a similar way they misrepresent the word “cut” when arguing politics. Many programs are designed to automatically increase budget spending based on the rate of growth of inflation. As the economy slows and the price of products decrease, the cost of living decreases in the same way. When this automatic increase would outgrow the cost of living increase they are supposed to decrease their growth rate. I cannot remember how many times I have seen liberals crying in Congress claiming the opposition wants to cut programs to the underprivileged. This decrease in the growth rate is portrayed as an actual cut when reported to the media. The liberals successfully paint their opponents as being insensitive.

These cuts in growth are still growths in spending yet they are portrayed as cuts to “alleged” critical programs. As I said above, many of these programs never really help anyone but just throw the people a bone to get their votes. These programs are just a means to give the impression that they are trying to fix things while the ignorant public gets played over and over again. In any group of people you are going to have a variety of types of people. Some will naturally prosper, some will live comfortably but not be wealthy while others will struggle. Within this group of people that are struggling you will also have a variety of reasons they are struggling. Some will be injured, have doctor bills, some will have been victims of crimes, and some will be un-motivated. In either case, liberals get power by catering to this group of people and throwing them a bone. Because many, not all of those in this group are less educated than others, they are unaware of basic math. If they were aware of the money that was actually being spent on these programs compared to the number of people in this country they would oppose most of these programs. The reason that I say this is that much of this money if wit were put into a pool and divided equally among every American would end up with every American, man, woman, and child having multiple millions of dollars.

They would have more money in their pockets if this money were just divided equally among the people. My point in all this is that just as in most government programs, the bulk of the money goes into overhead and into certain groups of people and a small portion actually goes to the “alleged” intended target. One thing that I failed to mention in this post is the fact that another truth in the world is that some people just cannot manage money responsibly. If all this money were indeed divided equally among all Americans, there would still be those that would be living in poverty. In those cased you would have some people that would squander the money away and then STILL expect the government to bail them out. Let’s keep everything in perspective and remember the government has NO money but rather extorts money from tax payers. Yes, I correctly used the word extortion because by definition they are forcing money from unwilling participants through threats and intimidation. If you think I am just making this up, just do not pay your taxes this years and tell me if you get any threats for non payment.

Anyway, this seemed to be the story of the day on the news and I had to give my take on the program. This is just another program intended to buy votes and not really help anyone just like this “stimulus” fiasco. Just another money grab from working people to pay off those that got them elected all the while buying more votes from your tax dollars. The phrase “business as usual” seems to apply to this program.

I think most people in this country are very suspicious of politicians in general because of theindiscretions of those in the past. This is tragic because as much as we do not trust them, we need them. There is one thing that seems to be common among politicians that I have noticed is the way that they never commit to ANYTHING. There answers are always vague, non-committal and even deceptive. This is not unique to one party or the other. In fact I have noticed that both Democrats and Republicans are famous for doing this. To take this a step further, you can look at their use of the word “reform”. If you look at the definition of the word, you get a clear meaning.

To improve by alteration, correction of error, or removal of defects; put into a better form or condition.

The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition. (2000). Houghton Mifflin Company.

When a politician uses the word, they do a fairly good job of applying it as an active word yet undefined. The word is usually followed by another term that is usually the political word of the day. Some examples of this are campaign finance reform, immigration reform, and health care reform. In each case, the word is used to mean an improvement to these problems/topics. Where the problem comes in is the how one defines campaign finance, health care, immigration as it relates to being a problem. To one person, immigration may be seen as a good thing. This idealistic view that our country was founded on immigrants coming in and making a home. To another person, immigration may be seen as going too far. To this person, immigrants are becoming a problem because of their high numbers. In either case, the same problem is seen from completely different points of view. To use the word immigration is to be vague and not very descriptive of the problem to begin with.

When a politician comes in with his or her use of reform, they are not addressing the problem at all. Yes, they do have an agenda and do want to take sides in the issue but they will never state which side they are on. They will say we need meaningful “immigration reform” while never spelling out which side they are on. At this point, the ignorant populace just takes it in as this politician wants to fix things. The politician is never pressed to spell out what immigration reform really means. They are never pressed to define health care reform or any other topics. This play on words, or rhetoric is often allowed to go unchallenged. Whenever you hear a politician use the word reform, hold on to your wallet because more often than not, it is going to cost you. If it were not going to cost you, then the politician would have no reason to be so deceptive. Why not come right out and say what they really mean? To say what they really means would be to take a side. To take a side, alienates those on the other side and thus, lose their vote.

If a politician really had any integrity, they would speak how they really feel and if the media had any integrity they would not allow them to get away with this. People are often quick to forget the last politician that did this so they ignore it when it comes up. When you hear health care reform on the television, you can rest assured that it is going to cost you. When they speak of immigration reform, you can be just as assured that it will cost you. The next time you turn on your television and they are talking “REFORM”, I would suggest you perk up and pay attention. What ever it is, you need to call your elected official and go against it. If it were real reform defined as it was above, they would not be using the word reform at all. They would spell out specifically what it is that they want to do. Listen real hard for the word REFORM.

This image was taken in Tucson, Arizona at the encouragement of my 16 year old son. He saw the foolishness of how the Border Patrol labeled the spot where you put the gas in this truck. I posted this to make a point that the United States government is not the right people to be handling the affairs of ordinary people. If they control the Border Patrols to the point that they tell them where to put the gas then you can imagine their control of your healthcare. I work for the government and I can tell you that the Border Patrol is not an isolated incident. All areas of the government are the same. At work they force us to identify wall outlets in the office so that we know they are 120 volts.

It is early on a Sunday morning and my family still sleeps. Yesterday I had to work an unusual Saturday so the weekend seems short. At work there are some deadlines that must be met while they impose a new web based program on us that is not ready for operation. This is pretty typical for the way the government does things. I really do not like to harp on the government all the time but they have proven themselves incapable, bureaucratic over and over again. The system that we are being forced to use is admittedly not ready yet because many of the tools are not even available to update though we are still being held to the same standards as though they were. This web based system is replacing a stand alone computer program that is saved right on the computer that is being worked on. Anyone that has worked with a web based system knows that you have bandwidth issues with transferring data over the web slowing things down. With every transaction it requires a save, and refresh and each transaction requires this four or five times. With every refresh it can take ten to 30 seconds to refresh. Since we have several hundred tasks, the time taken increases more than four times the old method. This does not even account for the modules that are not available yet.

For this reason, I had to be at work on a Saturday at 6:15 am and will have to work overtime every day this coming week and and then do it again next Saturday. Anyone that has ever dealt with any governmental agency whether it be city, county, state, federal, they know that it can be a bureaucratic red tape to do anything. Just go to the Veterans Administration, or Social Security office and you will find they have requirements that are above and beyond other agencies. The VA for example will require you to see a doctor even if you are not sick as a condition for their covering your medical treatment. This is just the nature of government because governments are not held to meeting a bottom line. They do not have to be concerned about profit margins and so efficiency is usually not even a factor in deciding how to do a process. I am not saying that it is malicious but rather just the nature of how things work in the government. If the government runs out of money, they just force the tax payers to give more. This is done through extortion, threats and intimidation.

This is not me going on a rant but rather just pointing out some observations of my being connected to the government for more than 20 years. When you add to this bureaucracy that inevitably exists in any government agency by nature, that they are funded by politicians that may or may have no idea how to run a business, the problem is made worse. Our government is headed up by 535 Senators and Representatives that have virtually no accountability. We have an executive branch that also has no accountability. The Judicial branch is so out of control and has the least accountability of all branches. Our founding fathers created a system that was supposed to have checks and balances to keep leaders from gaining too much power. What has happened over the years is that we have lost our direction and created a two party system that has created a divisive network of issues that really help no one but are used to drive a wedge between groups of people in an effort to gain votes.

There has become this Republican versus Democrat system set up that has its core issues, none of which help any of their constituents yet they are used to emotionally enflame their constituents to vote for one side or the other. There is never a middle ground or any other issues that matter because they along with a willing accomplice in the American media have successfully galvanized the public to fall for these issues. Either you are for it or you are not. Either you support this candidate or you support the other side that is evil. There is no middle ground. These issues are so predictable and always the same. On the Republican side it is the issues of the legality of abortion, the fight against big government and taxes, illegal aliens, and a host of others. On the Democrat side it is the issues of medical care, the poor, the elderly, the unions among others. On both sides they paint the other sides as villains to their respective cause and people just fall right in line. Maybe it is laziness, maybe it is ignorance but in my opinion it is both. I think it is a willing laziness to just accept what you hear on the television as fact and not hold these people accountable.

Many people that run for political office have no qualifications to run a 7-11 store much less spend millions of dollars of our tax money in an attempt to stay in office. Many times political figures will offer some sort of social program and the entire political movement along with the media stands behind this issue as the defining issue of the day. These politicians will paint a picture of some perceived injustice that is happening to a group of people, usually a large voting block like the elderly. They will put themselves in a position as savior to fix this problem if you just support them. They will offer some social program that will give those voters some sort of benefit that is too small to make a real difference yet large enough to convince them that the politician is on their side. The Democrats are very very good at this. They do this in a way that anyone who would dare go against spending this money is portrayed as evil and against progress. This is how the galvanize their followers to vote not only for the program but against the opponent. The Republicans are not as good as the Democrats at doing this but they are just as dishonest.

Our American political system has become a system of celebrity worship where if the candidate can get the most name recognition, they are the winner. The qualifications of the candidate are not even a factor. There are many candidates in Congress that have never had a real job and yet they are making decisions that affect the rest of the country. Another troubling problem is that in our government we have a disproportionate number of lawyers that are in political office. This is not meant to be a slam on lawyers but rather to point out another observation. A lawyer is a special career choice that specializes in rhetoric. When I say rhetoric, I mean the art of words. Being a lawyer is more than just having knowledge of laws that are applicable but also having a knowledge of the power of words. If you have a large vocabulary and the ability to communicate orally and written, then you have skills that are powerful. The career choice of being a lawyer also requires the ability to make an argument for or against anything using whatever information is available. It is an art that must be learned for most people but some are born with it. In this career it is more important to win the argument than it is to be right or wrong. Success it determined on the number of arguments won rather than how many right or wrong arguments are won or lost.

Just as the nature of government is to be bureaucratic, the nature of being a lawyer is to convince people whether by facts or emotion to agree with one side. This is usually done using emotion rather than facts and most lawyers that I know will admit this fact. The problem that arises is that you have a disproportionate number of people that are in charge that are more driven by success of an argument than they are by the drive to do something that is morally right. When this happens people sometimes get emotionally drawn into the argument of the day believing they are doing the right thing when they are really just being played upon. The power brokers are pulling all the strings driven by staying in power and winning their argument while the people are emotionally tied up in issues that the politician/lawyer cares virtually nothing about.

This is made worse because two of the three branches of government, those being the executive and legislative branches have put all controversial decision making on the judicial branch. The judicial branch meaning the courts are run 100% by lawyers with the same drives that I have spoken of before. The courts have zero accountability with lifetime appointments and no chance of being removed from office. The average citizen has no power in the decisions that are made in the courts. The judicial branch of government was intended to make Constitutional determinations of laws that were made by Congress and signed into law by the President. Their job was to determine the Constitutionality of laws. The judicial branch should be used to say yes or no. Yes it is Constitutional or not. What has happened is that judges and courts in general have gone further by adding their opinions to the decisions. These opinions themselves are unconstitutional. These opinions are being referenced in other cases to determine whether other issues are constitutional or not. Judges have no place adding opinions to cases. Further, the use of case law for deciding other issues is just as wrong.

If one judge oversteps his or her power in a decision, then it opens the door for others to use this previous decision to justify their irrational decisions. Since both the executive and legislative branches have not stood up to their responsibilities by impeaching these corrupt judges, there is absolutely no accountability. The Congress turns a blind eye to to corrupt judges and refuses to use their power to remove these judges. Our system has been further corrupted by those in power.

Those in Congress have forced our children to go to schools that preach a certain political slant. They control the education system with the curriculum and money. They have indoctrinated a whole generation of children to believe that a socialist system is better than a capitalist system. When I say socialist, I mean by definition where the government controls the money and assets. Socialism means that the welfare of the nation is determined by the government because they are the handlers of money. I heard a recent poll that said that only 52% of Americans thought that Democracy was better than socialism. This is a scary proposition because many of these people are too young to understand the implications of socialism. They do not remember the former Soviet Union’s grip on Eastern Europe and the world. They do not remember the Soviet Union’s real name was the Union of Soviet SOCIALISTS Republic (USSR). Governments by their very nature will grab more power than is offered them.

Anytime the people willingly give up their freedoms in the name of security, are also giving up their rights. These rights once they are lost, will never return. Security is something we all desire but not all have the willingness to fight for it. When we become lazy and give that security fight over to a government whose nature is to grab power, we lose our rights. This post is not an attempt to scare everyone to death but rather to vent my frustrations at what I see in the world. I see the nation that had such a great reputation in the world willingly handing over the freedoms that were fought for in the name of becoming secure. How many other nations have done this to see their glory days a distant memory? The Soviet Union most likely desired security. The Nazi Germany likely went down the same path. Please do not be lazy and allow those that may not have your best interests at heart be in control of your future. Do not turn your rights over in the name of security.

Do not allow the two political parties and the media to determine your future. Do not allow those that are good with words to take your rights when they are more concerned with winning an argument. Take responsibility for yourself and be critical of those over you. It is good to be critical of those that make decisions over you. Never accept that anyone in power is thinking of you because by our very nature we are selfish. People do what makes them happy without thought. If we hold each other responsible for our own actions, then maybe we should hold those that make decisions on our behalf responsible. This is not meant to be malicious or callous in any way. This is just an attempt to wake people to understand that you have to take responsibility and not let someone else make decisions for you.

I know I paint a bleak picture of our political system in this blog post.

This is a great day for the Republican Party when Arland (sphincter) Specter leaves the party for the Democrats. For the record he and his buddy John McCain have been stabbing the Republican Party in the back for years. They are what the conservatives call RINO, or Republican in Name Only. This is a great day and a good start in getting rid of these dead beats. Mr. Specter makes the comments that he is leaving the Republican Party because they left him. This is just a diversion to the fact that he had a Republican challenger this year and he was losing. I know I know there are some of you out there that are not seeing the big picture will say this is just making the Democrats stronger. My point is that the Republican Party of the last ten years has been just as liberal as the Democrats. It is time to clean house and get rid of these liberal Republicans and get someone we can vote for.

It is a real testament to how left wing the Republican Party has become when people are shocked to find out that John McCain would dare nominate an anti abortion person like Sarah Palin. If they were really conservative like the media portrays them then they would have expected it. I have been preaching this for a long time and it is time we stop voting for our guy JUST because he or she is Republican. That is just a title and means nothing. Our doing that has allowed the Republicans to feel emboldened and they have continued to become more left wing by the day. They have reached the point of believing they have our votes simply because they are not Democrat. As you can see this is not helping our cause. I had someone tell me that to not vote for them assures the Democrats a win so I am not helping the cause.

I use to think like that and in fact argued with someone to convince them of that fact until I realized that our side was abandoning us. Yes, I know that it is a high price to pay to allow the Democrats to win but it is a necessary evil if we are going to ever get a candidate to stand by their constituents. I too think that Barack Obama’s only redeeming quality is his skin color but it is a lesson that must be taught to our side. We cannot simply let the Republican have our vote simply for being a member of a political party. Arland Specter and John McCain have sold our side down the river over and over again all the while saying that we are too extreme. I thought the video above was so appropriate for this occasion. For those of you that worry that him being on the Democrat side giving them too much power, then you have not been paying attention. He already was on their side for years. He stood in the way of many conservative bills from ever making it out of committee.

Instead of cursing the institutions that got him there such as the media, we should be embracing this career and encourage conservatives to join them and change them from the inside out. The media is only left wing because we conservatives have cursed that occupation and have let them have it. How about joining them and change it from the inside out? Anyway, this is not a day to be upset but a day to be happy that we have purged ourselves of a cancer that has been killing us from the inside. We have just gone from stage four cancer to stage three. This is a bright day in our history!
